Elliana goes wild in her exer-saucer, jumping all over the place, grabbing her toys and laughing and having fun. Here is a video...

Sweet Pea!
I forgot to tell you that Elliana has moved on to peas for her big girl food. She still likes to "help" by grabbing the spoon.
Raaaaahhh! A scary spider!

Apple Picking
We went apple picking at Applecrest Orchards in New Hampshire on Saturday. Elliana had a great time in the pick-your-own apple patch, and on the tractor and hanging out with Grandma, Grampy and the Fossianos.
Elliana loved picking her own apples (and leaves)!Elliana tasting her first fresh picked apple...nice and sour, pucker up!
Elliana having a great time playing with Grampy, who's happier than this little girl?

Big Girl!
Here are some more pictures. Elliana likes to hold her bottle now (sometimes) but she also likes to pull it out of her mouth and move it all around, so she hasn't mastered it quite yet!
She also likes to grab the bars of her crib, so it won't be long before she tries to climb out I guess! Here she is showing off her Life is Good Love Bug outfit
Just a little drool dripping off the chin, but still looking cute!

New Poll!!!
It seems that I am getting a bit of grief for wearing a helmet while towing the little girl with my bike. Note the following two comments:
whats with the helmet?
~Ryan (listed as Anonymous, could be Agustina but for the purposes of this post we will go with Ryan)
That is a pretty sweet set up she's got there. And Rob, you look super fast in that helmet.
~Nate
~Nate
Unlike someone who already has brain-damage (i.e. Ryan and Nate), it could actually affect my life significantly if I were hit by a car and smashed my head on the pavement. So with the real elections looming I submit to you another voting opportunity with the following question:
Who looks better in a helmet, Rob or Ryan, as seen in the photos below? Please answer in the top right section of Elliana's Main Page!

Family Bike Ride
Elliana went for her very first bike ride in her Chariot (from Papa) with Mommy and Daddy on Sunday. The Chariot hitches right on to the back of the new bike Kristen got me for my birthday, pretty sweet. Elliana is pretty much strapped into a hammock-like seat and has fully adjustable suspension.
We rode to Grampy's house, and he grabbed his bike and went around the Back Shore with us. Elliana smiled and squealed with delight during the first half of the ride, and slept during the second half. It was a great time for all of us! I told Kristen next time she can pull me around in that thing, I know I could squeeze myself in there...

Carrots!!!
Elliana had her first taste of real food Saturday (besides baby cereal). We thought carrots would be appropriate since everyone seems to think she has red hair. She really liked eating them along with her cereal and did a nice job.
The eating...The aftermath...

Comments Galore!
Wow, you guys really came through with the comments, and I was only half serious. I would never hold out on you for too long! Here are some more of Elliana playing in her favorite toy, biting her favorite fake apple, and playing with her favorite butterfly just before a big sneeze (I missed the picture of the actual sneeze, but you can almost see it coming).

Bottle Protest!
Elliana is officially on protest. Today was Kristen's first day back at work (East Gloucester Elementary 5th grade), and Auntie Jane is now watching the lovie full time. She might be having second thoughts as the little girl has refused outright to take formula from the bottle. She did manage to feed her cereal and eventually tricked her into taking breastmilk from a bottle. Here is a picture of Elliana with her tongue out to complete the formal protest.
Also, the blog should be a two way street, so until I start to get some comments, I am holding further pictures hostage!

More Pics...
Here is another good eating picture. Then some pics of the lovie in her exer-saucer, happy, happier, and contemplative...
Big Girl Food!!!
Elliana has started eating rice cereal. She loves it! She really attackes the spoon with authority. This week we'll probably move on to carrots...
