Apple Picking

We went up to Applecrest Orchard last weekend in New Hampshire to pick our own apples. Elliana loved her second time there (she was tiny last year, check out the archive blog pictures.) We had a great time and Elliana loved eating apples and donuts and corn and chowder and...(Sorry for the picture quality, these are phone pictures as I forgot the memory stick for the good camera, oops...)
She also loved riding on the tractors there!
Mmmm, apples!
You can do my hair, just don't stop me from eating...
Oh, this is a nice one...

Rain Dance!

Elliana was running wild and dancing all over the porch in Maine, in the rain. She loved the wide open space for running around!
Come catch some rain Daddy!
Grampy showing Elliana the finer points of log cabin construction. Our little engineer...

Maine Hike!

We stayed at my coworker Kevin's place in Maine again. Great weekend, fun hiking, sitting around, cooking, eating, playing, you name it. We took the hike to the top of Bald Mountain again, but this time brought Grampy, and GRANDMA! Yeah, that's right, she made it all the way to the top with nary a complaint...
The view...
Backpack, backpack!
Hiking on the granite top...
Everyone hiking down, Elliana loved being a big girl and hiking on her own for a few minutes!

On the same day we visited the Schooner Bluenose, we also checked out the touch tanks at the Maritime Heritage Museum. Here you get to check out and pick up various sea creatures from our neck of the woods, and Elliana loved the place. Here are some shots!

Schooner Bluenose

This past weekend we went down to check out the schooner Bluenose from Nova Scotia, an absolutely gorgeous ship. Elliana was loving it, running all over the decks and checking things out!
Sir, could you drop this anchor into the water for me?
Try to keep up with me Mommy!
Ohhhh, fishies!
It must take a lot of work to keep everything so shiny...
