First Night Home...

We spent our first night home with Elliana last night. She is getting used to her new surroundings, and is currently in her longest sleep after her latest nursing. She seems to love listening to the music from her mobile while Mom nurses her, and loves rocking in the chair. We had some visitors yesterday at home and want to thank everyone for coming by to see us.
Yesterday, on the way home from the hospital, we stopped at the grocery store to get some supplies. I knew that Elliana would be a great shopper, based on her mother's skill in that department, and I was right. She slept the whole time, and didn't make a peep. She turned a few heads and raised a few eyebrows when the answer to the question, "How old is she?" was, "Two days."

Here are some more pictures. Please keep your comments coming, we love reading them, and appreciate all the kind words!!!

See how tiny she looks in that car seat?

You won't believe how fast she will grow to fill that seat out.

I remember it taking 15 minutes to get The Bean into her first car seat when we brought her home from the hospital.

Enjoy it all. The sleepless nights and all, it will fly by and be the toughest job you'll ever love.

I can't believe how much you can love someone after just meeting them one day. I was so sad when I had to head back home to Maine. I love my new niece. I can't wait to see her again.

Love you guys, Hayley
